Please provide a brief narrative justification for each expense.* Supplies A4A currently covers the costs of medical care,vaccinations, FIV/FeLV testing,flea/tick/dewormer treatments, spaying/neutering,and microchipping for all foster animals in A4A care.Foster kits are provided to new foster parents. •For FY2024-2025 Foster Kits:$30/kit x 5 new fosters=$150.00. •Medications(Vaccinations, FIViFeLV test kits,microchips,flea/tick and dewormer,antibiotics) For FY 2024-2025:$30/cat x 750 cats=$22,500.00 A4A would like to also cover the routine fostering costs of cat food and cat litter with the break down as follows: •Food&Cat litter/Foster/month:$25.00(1 bag of Kirkland Maintenance cat food)+$30.00(1 40-count box of Friskies wet food)+$6.50(4 cans of pumpkin puree)+$13.00(1 box pellet litter)=$74.50. For 28 fosters(5 more than current 23)Food&Cat litter/foster/month:$74.50 x 28=$2,086.00. For FY2024-2025:$2086.00 x 12=$25,032.00. A4A monitors the animals in the cubbies on,at minimum,a daily basis,cleans and disinfects each cubby daily and purchases and maintains all supplies needed to keep the animals comfortable and healthy. •Food for Petco cubbies/month:$25.00(1 bag of Kirkland Maintenance cat food)+$60.00(2 40-count box of Friskies wet food)=$85.00/month. For FY2024-2025:$85.00/month x 12=$1,020.00. Equipment A4A purchases carriers,traps,cat kennels for use by fosters. For FY2024-2025:$1,000.00. Spay/Neuter costs: Kittens/cast adopted through A4A is spayed/neutered prior to going to their new homes.A4A typically brings our foster cats to the Petfix clinics for these services and provides a donation of$45.00 for each spay/neuter.
