Section 92.2.5(e), I am reporting the attendance of myself and <br /> Council Members Cynthia Evans, Jennifer Kagiwada, and Susan Lee Loy at the 2024 National <br /> Association of Counties (NACo) Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., held February <br /> 10-13, 2024. This annual NACo Legislative Conference brings together some 2,000 elected and <br /> appointed county officials to focus on federal policy issues that impact counties and its residents. <br /> H.R.S. Section 92.2.5(e) provides that two or more members of a board, but less than a quorum, <br /> may attend an informational meeting or presentation on matters relating to official board <br /> business, including a meeting of another entity, legislative hearing, convention, seminar, or <br /> community meeting; provided that the meeting or presentation is not specifically and exclusively <br /> organized for or directed toward members of the board.
