COUNTY OF HAWAIII =4 STATE OF HAWAFI <br />*7. M_Ni - <br />RESOLUTION NO. 464, 21 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2024 COUNTY OF HAWAIJ ANNUAL <br />ACTION PLAN FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAIJ COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT, HOME INVESTMENT <br />PARTNERSHIPS, AND HOUSING TRUST FUND PROGRAMS AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAIJ TO <br />EXECUTE AND SUBMIT THE ACTION PLAN AND ALL OTHER <br />RELATED DOCUMENTS TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF <br />HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is a direct recipient of federal Community <br />Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds from the United States Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is also a recipient of HOME Investment Partnerships <br />(HOME) and Housing Trust Fund (HTF) Program funds through the State of Hawaii Housing <br />Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC); and <br />WHEREAS, it is required by HUD that the County submit a Consolidated/Action Plan, <br />which includes housing and homeless needs assessments, a housing market analysis, five-year <br />goals and priorities, and project monitoring procedures; and <br />WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan is a five (5) year plan that indicates the County's <br />goals and priorities for the use of CDBG, HOME and HTF funds for housing, homeless, special <br />needs and community development; and <br />WHEREAS, it is required by HUD that before the County of Hawaii receives its annual <br />CDBG allocation, the County shall submit its yearly Action Plan as required by the Consolidated <br />Plan; and <br />
