• <br /> .,.,%' <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I ��•_ :'= � :• STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •rEof jj_.' <br /> BILL NO. 130 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 24 20 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10,DIVISION 5, SECTION 24- <br /> 279, SCHEDULE 27 OF THE HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION,AS <br /> AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING ON PAVEMENT PROHIBITED AT ALL <br /> TIMES. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to promote vehicular and pedestrian <br /> safety on a narrow two-lane section of roadway. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-279, schedule 27, entitled <br /> "Parking on pavement prohibited at all times," subsection"(f) Kona," of the Hawai`i County <br /> Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately <br /> inserted and to read as follows: <br /> • Kilohana Street, east side, from a point seventy-one feet north of Sunset Drive to a point <br /> one hundred seventy-four feet south of Ailina Street. <br /> • Kilohana Street, west side, from a point one hundred eighty-seven feet south of Ailina <br /> Street to Sunset Drive. <br /> SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance,the underscoring <br /> need not be included. <br /> SECTION 4. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid,the invalidity does not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br />
