COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />BILL NO. 155 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 23-51, AS AMENDED, <br />RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF <br />FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2023 TO JUNE 30, 2024. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAVI: <br />SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 23-51, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements and <br />Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, is hereby amended <br />by establishing the following program appropriations: <br />PROGRAM AMOUNT <br />Roadway Projects (Engineering) $2,825,755 <br />Bridge Inspection, Repair, & Replacement 1,883,836 <br />Program (Engineering) <br />Local Road Improvements (Highways) 4,709,591 <br />TOTAL $9,419,182 <br />Allotments from these program appropriations shall be made to be specific projects listed <br />on the attached Exhibit A. <br />SECTION 2. Funds for these projects shall be provided from that portion of the <br />Highway Fund which is designated as the Fuel Tax Increase Account No. 020.3104.06, <br />and which consists of the increase fuel tax revenues created pursuant to Resolution No. <br />504-08. <br />SECTION 3. The current district apportionment formula for the Local Road <br />Improvement category of the County of Hawaii Fuel Tax Program distributes funds <br />among the tax map districts according to each district's percent of miles of local streets. <br />
