Pacific Aquaculture and Coastal Resources Center(PA CRC) The mission of the Pacific Aquaculture and Coastal Resources Center(PACRC)is to advance long- term sustainable use and conservation of coastal areas worldwide through aquaculture and resource management.The Center promotes excellence and innovation in interdisciplinary scientific research,public policy initiatives,outreach activities,and education.PACRC is a project of the University of Hawai'i at Hilo in cooperation with the County of Hawai`i,the Keaukaha Community Association,and the UH Sea Grant College Program. Go Farm GoFarm Hawaii is a statewide Beginning Farmer Training Program with sites on O'ahu,Kauai, Maui,and Hawaii Island.Its mission is to enhance Hawai'i's food security and economy by 00 increasing the number of sustainable,local agricultural producers by providing hands on ti?S commercial farm and business training. Big Island Invasive Species Committee (BIISC) BIISC is a project of the University of Hawai'i-Pacific Cooperative Studies Unit.The committee is a (43 voluntary partnership of government,private and non-profit organizations,and concerned individuals.Its mission is to prevent,detect,and control the establishment and spread of invasive species threats to our environment,economy,and way of life.BIISC works island wide protecting !ir. our native forests,communities,and agriculture from new and ongoing threats. • ICC 4 3
