STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> .. ____-49: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 530 24 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A <br /> MULTI-AGENCY MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE <br /> STATE OF HAWAI`I, HAWAI'I HOUSING FINANCE AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AND THE UNIVERSITY OF <br /> HAWAI`I ECONOMIC RESEARCH ORGANIZATION PURSUANT TO <br /> HRS 46-7. <br /> WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) <br /> wishes to enter into an agreement between the State of Hawaii, Hawaii Housing <br /> Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC) and the University of Hawaii <br /> Economic Research Organization (UHERO); and <br /> WHEREAS, this agreement is to conduct a State-wide Analysis of <br /> Impediments (Al) to Fair Housing; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 46-7, requires that County <br /> departments obtain the consent of the council to enter into agreements with the <br /> federal or state governments respecting action to be taken pursuant to any of the <br /> powers granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other <br /> assistance in connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those <br /> powers; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, in <br /> accordance with section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, that the Mayor of the <br /> County of Hawaii is authorized to execute, on behalf of the County, an agreement <br /> and related documents with the State of Hawaii HHFDC and the UHERO as <br /> indicated above. <br />
