Real <br /> property tax penalties revenue is expected to exceed the amount budgeted for FY 2023- <br /> 24, requiring additional funds be appropriated into the PONC and Disaster and <br /> Emergency Fund transfer accounts in order to maintain compliance. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an Ordinance amending the Operating Budget by increasing <br /> appropriations of$1,000,000 to the Transfer to Public Access/Open Space, and Natural <br /> Resources Preservation Fund, and $500,000 to the Transfer to Disaster and Emergency <br /> Fund. <br /> We respectfully request that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee and be <br /> placed on the June 5, 2024 Council agenda in order to ensure execution within FY 2023- <br /> 24.
