These funds will be used <br /> for the planning phase of the Waste-to Wealth Project in Hilo, Hawai`i. <br /> Enclosed is'a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed <br /> is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $100,000. <br /> The Department of Research and Development requests that this resolution and bill be <br /> waived from the Finance Committee and be placed on the June 5, 2024 Council agenda in <br /> order to expedite the receipt of these funds.
