3. The first "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED" clause is amended to read as follows: <br />"BE IT [FUR -THEIR-] RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAN thatpursuant to section 101-13 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes the Corporation <br />Counsel of the County of Hawaii be and is hereby authorized and empowered to initiate <br />proceedings in eminent domain, as provided by law, for the taking, acquisition, and <br />condemnation of the aforesaid private property." <br />Due to the limited scope of these amendments, a copy of the new draft of the resolution that <br />would result if these amendments were adopted is not attached. <br />Mahalo. <br />HGI: wpb <br />
