Kimball, Council Chair <br />Council District I <br />SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No, 122; An Ordinance Amending Chapter <br />25 and Chapter 14, Article 4, Section 14-20, of the Hawaii County Code <br />1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), Relating to the Repeal of Bed and <br />Breakfast as a Permitted Use. <br />Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 122. The proposed amendment is <br />shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 122; material to be <br />deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be inserted is underscored. <br />SECTION 7 of Bill No. 122, which amends chapter 14, article 4, section 14-20 of the Hawaii <br />County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended) by amending the definition of "Hotel", is <br />amended to read as follows: <br />`"`Hotel" means [a transient .,e,.affi edatio rei#a the same as defined in chapter 25, <br />section 25-1-5." <br />Due to the limited scope of this proposed amendment, a copy of the new draft of this bill <br />that would result if the proposed amendment were adopted is not attached. <br />HK:dbk <br />Haivai'i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />Comae.
