No. 942/13ill No. 183 <br />Your Committee on Legislative Approvals and Acquisitions, to which was referred Bill No. 183, reports <br />as follows: <br />Bill No. 183, transmitted by Mayor Mitchell D. Roth, via Communication No. 942, dated July 3, 2024, <br />repeals Ordinance No. 12 132, which amended Section 25-8-33 (City of Hilo Zone Map), Article 8, <br />Chapter 25 (Zoning Code) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 edition), by changing the District <br />Classification from Single -Family Residential — 10,000 square feet (RS-10) to Multiple -Family <br />Residential — 3,000 square feet (RM-3) at Waidkea, South Hilo, Hawaii, covered by Tax Map <br />Key: 2-2-038:017 (Planning Director initiated) (Area: approx. 0.9793 acres). <br />The Windward Planning Commission forwards its favorable recommendation to revert the zoning <br />from Multiple -Family Residential to its original designation of Single -Family Residential at the <br />request of the owner. The property is located at 1623 Kino'ole Street. <br />Planning Director Zendo Kern stated that this change of zone is stale, and the applicants were not <br />able to complete the project.
