-4 Of New <br />J�t <br />COUNTY OF HAWAVI STATE OF HAWAII <br />Y4 RESOLUTION NO. 63:1, 24 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br />YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR <br />AGREEMENT WITH RUNBECK ELECTION SERVICES FOR THE AGILIS <br />SOFTWARE FOR THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK, ELECTIONS DIVISION. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Article X, Section 10- 11, of the Hawaii County Charter, any <br />contract, lease, or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later <br />fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year shall be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a four-year agreement with <br />Runbeck Election Services for the Agilis software for the Office of the County Clerk, Elections <br />Division; and <br />WHEREAS, Runbeck Election Services is the exclusive provider for the Agilis software <br />that runs the Agilis scanner -sorter hardware; and <br />WHEREAS, the Agilis software, license, and maintenance fee will be approximately <br />$196,500 for the entire four years; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAIJ that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a four-year agreement with Runbeck Election Services <br />for the Agilis software for the Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds shall be budgeted in future fiscal <br />years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />.1 <br />
