The subject property is located mauka of Kaiminani Drive on Old Government <br />Mauka Road, approximately 800 feet south of its intersection with Hawai `i Belt Road .at Kalaoa <br />5th, North Kona, Hawaii. <br />The Commission voted to forward a favorable recommendation to the County Council as <br />recommended by the Planning Director's recommendation with the following amendment: <br />Condition D (Water): The Commission voted to replace the Director's original <br />recommendation with revised language to clarify that the applicant must install a private <br />pump and storage system to boost water pressure for each of the proposed lots. If <br />necessary, the applicant must also execute an out-of-bounds agreement and an elevation <br />agreement with the Department of Water Supply. Additionally, if a variance is required <br />by the subdivision code, the applicant must apply for and receive approval for it. <br />Hawaii County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />
