COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAVI <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6 G 5 2 4 <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORGANIZATION <br />OF THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAPI BY AMENDING RULE NO. 26. <br />WHEREAS, on December 5, 2022, the Council of the County of Hawaii ("the <br />Council") adopted the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of <br />Hawai `i ("the Rules") as provided in Resolution No. 4-22 to govern the affairs of the Council; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Rule No. 16(l) states that the Rules "may be amended at a regular Council <br />meeting by resolution approved by an affirmative majority vote of the entire membership of the <br />Council;" and <br />WHEREAS, the Council finds that Rule No. 26, subrule (1)(c), governing Chairperson <br />additional fulltime staff, bears further consideration and clarification; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Rule No. 26 of the Rules is hereby amended by amending subrule (1), clause (c) to read as <br />follows (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken; material to be added is underscored): <br />"(c) The Chairperson is assigned [€eiir] five additional fulltime staff- <br />(1) Executive Assistant to the Chairperson <br />(2) Deputy Executive Assistant to the Council Chairperson <br />(3) Special Assistant <br />(4) Special Assistant <br />[(4)](�) Council Aide to the Chairperson, in addition to subsection l (b)" <br />
