As a result of those <br />meetings, the Kauai County Council: <br />• Proposed Draft Bill (No. 2919) — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 8, KAUXI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS <br />.AMENDED, RELATING TO THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE, INCLUDING MATTERS PERTAINING TO GUEST <br />HOUSES <br />o This Bill was previously referred to the Planning Commission on <br />March 27, 2024, and was received for the record at the <br />September 11, 2024 Council Meeting. <br />• Bill No. 2925 — A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 5A, KAUXI COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, <br />RELATING TO REAL PROPERTY TAX (Residential Leases of <br />State -Owned Property) <br />o This Bill proposes to amend Chapter 5A, Kaua`i County Code 1987, <br />as amended, for the purpose of allowing lessees of a state-owned <br />property used for residential purposes to qualify for a beneficial tax <br />rate and the assessment cap. <br />o This Bill was approved on second and final reading at the <br />September 11, 2024 Council Meeting, and sent to the Mayor for his <br />approval. <br />AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER <br />
