Of <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />, 4r';;'40' <br />RESOLUTION NO. 685 24 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PHASE THREE EXPANSION OF ROOTS <br />SKATEPARK AT KAMEHAMEHA PARK IN COUNCIL DISTRICT 9. <br />WHEREAS, the Roots Skatepark provides the North Kohala community with a safe <br />recreational environment for skateboarding; and <br />WHEREAS, while a substantial amount of funding, materials, and labor for the <br />construction of Roots Skatepark has been donated by local community members, additional <br />funds are needed for Phase three of the expansion at the skatepark; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has previously committed to <br />provide funding assistance for necessary construction expenses; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAIII that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for expenses relating to the Phase three expansion of Roots Skatepark at <br />Kamehameha Park in Council District 9. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $20,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $20,000 <br />010.801.5801.33 Department of Parks and Recreation $20,000 <br />Transfer to Capitol Projects Fund <br />341 Misc.
