REQUEST: <br />961-2273 <br />This is to request to appropriate an additional $116,787.96 ($66,787.96 & $50,000) for the HI Impact Grant <br />Program under expenditure account number 010.201.5219.93 and revenue account 3302.98. The grant is <br />funded from the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Program. <br />Request to waive Finance Committee to start the procurement before Purchasing deadlines. The additional <br />funding will be used to purchase a vehicle and to reimburse overtime, services, travel and training. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) is providing additional funds under the HIDTA Program <br />to combat the drug problem in the County of Hawaii.
