Farr <br />Executive on Aging <br />In response to our discussion on October 16, 2024, regarding your request for $5,000.00 to <br />provide "Positive Approach to Care" (PAC) training workshops for the public through Council <br />District Contingency Relief Fund. Hawaii County Office of Aging (HCOA) is recommending <br />approval of your request with the following agreed upon assurances by Hawaii Island Adult <br />Care (HIAC): <br />l . HCOA will not receive or reimburse any invoices for clients who participate in Title <br />IIIe Caregiver Training or our State Kupuna Care contracts currently between HCOA <br />and HIAC who may choose to participate in PAC workshops. <br />2.
