SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-257, Schedule 5, entitled <br /> "35 mile per hour limit", subsection(e) Kohala, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, <br /> as amended),is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read as <br /> follows: <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway,mauka side, from a point one thousand three hundred eight feet <br /> southeast of HWY 250 and extending eight thousand four hundred eighty-six feet in the <br /> southeasterly direction. <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway, mauka side, from a point thirteen thousand one hundred fifty-four <br /> feet southeast of HWY 250 and extending to the end of road at Pololu Valley Lookout. <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway,makai side, from the end of road at Pololu Valley Lookout and <br /> extending twenty-six thousand nine hundred ninety-seven feet in the northwesterly <br /> direction. <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway, makai side, from a point thirty thousand seven hundred forty-two <br /> feet northeast of Pololu Valley Lookout and extending eight thousand three hundred eight <br /> feet in the northwesterly direction. <br /> SECTION 4. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring <br /> need not be included. <br /> SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br /> 2 <br />
