STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />1pf OF•HF'.r1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9-4 2 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR USE OF THE KONA TROLLEY FOR <br />THE WEST HAWAI`I COUNTY BAND DURING THE KONA CHRISTMAS PARADE. <br />WHEREAS, the West Hawaii County Band, a civic band and sub -unit of the Hawaii <br />County Band, is comprised of local musicians in Kona that perform at monthly concerts, civic <br />events, cultural events and parades on the west side of Hawaii island; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for rental of the <br />Kona Trolley to transport the band musicians and their instruments to perform at the Kona <br />Christmas parade, that is scheduled for December 14, 2024; and <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY 'THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to pay for use of the Kona Trolley for the West Hawaii County Band <br />during the Kona Christmas Parade in 2024. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNTOF <br />•PROP• • i <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5501.02 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />Hawaii County Band OCE <br />115 Misc.
