COUNTY OF HAWAII •A=:. :0'.1 STATE OF HAWAII <br /> -.#' <br /> BILL NO. 217 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 24 98 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6,ARTICLE 2, SECTION 6-12, OF THE <br /> HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO <br /> PROHIBITED HIGHWAYS FOR COMMERCIAL BICYCLE TOURS. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 6, article 2, section 6-12, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 <br /> Edition, as amended), is amended by adding new listings in subsection(e)to be appropriately <br /> inserted and to read as follows: <br /> "• Kohala Mountain Road, from the junction with Route 250 and Route 19, to the <br /> intersection of Route 250 and Haw'Road. <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway, from the twenty-five mile marker to its terminus at Pololu <br /> Valley Lookout." <br /> SECTION 2. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring <br /> need not be included. <br /> SECTION 3. Severability. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof <br /> to any person or circumstance, is held invalid,the invalidity does not affect other provisions or <br /> applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or <br /> application, and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable. <br /> SECTION 4.
