REQUEST: <br />The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is requesting to amend Ordinance 24-32 by <br />appropriating the following: <br />REVENUE: <br />Community Project Funding Old Hilo Hospital 152.331 O.xx $3,600,000.00 <br />EXPENDITURE: <br />Community Project Funding Old Hilo Hospital 152.461.5466.xx $3,600,000,00 <br />Please also submit a resolution to authorize the Mayor to execute and submit all required agreements and other <br />related documents to enter into a multi -year agreement with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />The County of Hawaii received written notification that its request for federal grant funding from the US Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development from its Community Project Funding has been approved, <br />The federal grant funding will be used to support the assessment, design, repairs, and renovation costs of the Old Hilo <br />Hospital located at 34 Rainbow Drive in South Hilo, <br />The ordinance sets up the proper accounts to receive and expend the grant funds, <br />SIGNED: �W DATE: <br />Department Head <br />
