Mr. Yamada is a 60-year resident of Hawaii and retired in December 2023 <br />from the Hawaii Police Department with over 30 years of experience as an officer and reserve <br />officer. <br />Mr. Yamada is presently a volunteer member of the Caretakers of Kaipalaoa Hilo Bayfront. He <br />is a former board member of the Hawaii Island Humane Society and is not affiliated with any <br />political party.
