REPORT OF THE <br />COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br />DATE: January 7, 2025 <br />PLACE: Council Chambers <br />Hilo, Hawaii <br />TIME: 2:02 p.m. <br />Council Chair and Members <br />Hawaii County Council <br />Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br />Re: Comm. No. 34/Bill No. 9 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 9, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 9, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication <br />No. 34, dated November 29, 2024, amends Ordinance No. 24-32, as amended, the Operating <br />Budget for the County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. <br />This bill increases revenues in the Federal Grants — Hawai`i County Police Department 2023 <br />Selective Traffic Enforcement Programs Grant account ($48,764); and appropriates the same to the <br />Hawaii County Police Department 2023 Selective Traffic Enforcement Programs Grant account, for <br />a total appropriation of $628,764.
