BEQUEST: <br />Please prepare a resolution to accept a donation of Gillig parts from Oahu Transit Services. <br />B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): <br />Oahu Transit Services has a surplus of Gillig bus parts that are available for transfer to County of Hawaii <br />Mass Transit Agency. These parts are obsolete and will help us fix our Gillig buses. Which will allow more of <br />our County Buses to be on the road which will result in an estimated savings of $40,000 per week. <br />Hawaii County will cover the costs for shipping the bus parts to the Big Island. <br />Total estaminted value of donation is $176,899.00.
