J+�14 OF k,�Y <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I .; _• <br />�rF or•N�,.I� <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE 2025 EASTER FUN DAY IN THE KA`U <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, provides a <br />diversified recreation program that addresses the needs and interests of the respective <br />communities in a safe environment at County recreation facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Division plans, conducts, arranges, or promotes organized <br />recreation, athletics, crafts, and other leisure -time activities for all age groups at recreation <br />centers and facilities throughout the County of Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, the Recreation Division is planning to host an Easter Fun Day event on <br />April 18, 2025, at three locations in the Ka`u district: Kahuku Park in Ocean View, Na`alehu <br />Community Center, and Pahala Community Center, which will include variety of activities and <br />refreshments to all participating keiki in the community; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase <br />Easter eggs and candy, arts and crafts supplies for keiki activities and refreshments for the 2025 <br />Easter Fun Day; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation for its 2025 Easter Fun Day in the Ka`u district. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />
