tlJ�tYfoF M,� <br />COUNTY OF HAWAM •_ <br />♦,FtF tlF�NA'�r <br />I' vs a 60999 9 rel an <br />92. <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br />DONATION OF SERVICES TO PURSUE FEDERAL AWARDS AND <br />ASSISTANCE. <br />WHEREAS, Ulupono LLC, a limited liability company, is donating supportive, <br />consultive, and technical services for pursuing federal awards and assistance to the County of <br />Hawaii Office of Sustainability, Climate, Equity and Resilience; and <br />WHEREAS, these services, valued at approximately $90,000, will help to optimize <br />the County of Hawai`i's efforts and improve the County's ability to maximize federal funding <br />opportunities; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br />council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br />personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Office of Sustainability, Climate, Equity and Resilience recommends the <br />acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, , in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br />Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
