Britt from Council District 7 to serve on the Public Access, <br />Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC). <br />Ma. Britt was horn in Denver, Cok]r@dO, raised in VVvoming, and relocated to Havvai'i in 2011. <br />She holds aBachelor (dScience in Biology from the University UfWyoming and currently serves <br />as the Office Administrator for Christ Church Episcopal in Kealakekua. <br />From September 2011 to July 2017, Ms. Britt served as the Hewai'iIsland Director and <br />Acquisition Specialist for the H@vv8ii8D |S|8Od'S Land Trust, now the H8vv8i1 Land lFOJSt. From <br />Dec8mber2O21 to Jonuary2O22. K8a. Britt worked for the U.S. Department OfAgriculture, <br />where she spearheaded the writing of the Long -Range Land Use Plan for the South Kona Soil <br />and Water Conservation District. <br />She actively volunteers in our community as a former Chairperson and member of the State of <br />Hawaii's Forest Stewardship Advisory Committee and an active member of the Friends of Amy <br />B.H. Greenwell Ethnobotanical Garden. Prior to moving to Hawai'i, Janet worked for almost <br />twenty years aathe Coordinator ofConservation Projects fOrth8VVvVmingChapterofThe <br />Nature Conservancy. Her past experiences and accomplishments make her particularly <br />qualified toserve om PONC. <br />If confirmed, MS.
