JNtY' Of k,�1 <br />L6r;N•, <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAVI <br />RESOLUTION NO. 102 25 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL <br />YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR LEASE FOR <br />A MULTIFUNCTION COPY MACHINE FOR THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY <br />CLERK, ELECTIONS DIVISION. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Article X, Section 10-11, of the County Charter, any contract, <br />lease, or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year <br />or of more than one fiscal year shall be approved by resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a five-year lease for a <br />multifunction copy machine for the Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division; and <br />WHEREAS, the lease for the current copy machine, which is 10 years old and obsolete, <br />has expired; and <br />WHEREAS, a five-year lease for a multifunction copy machine would be approximately <br />$270 per month; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five-year lease for a multifunction copy machine for <br />the Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that sufficient funds shall be budgeted in future fiscal <br />years to cover the anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
