J»YY OF <br />COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO KONA HISTORICAL <br />SOCIETY FOR ITS "FROM HUMBLE HIVES TO GLOBAL IMPACT: THE STORY <br />OF KONA'S BEEKEEPING" VIDEO PRODUCTION. <br />WHEREAS, the Kona Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated <br />to preserving the history of Kona to enrich, inspire, and inform community and visitors through <br />collecting, preserving, researching, interpreting, and disseminating the history of Kona; and <br />WHEREAS, Kona Historical Society is requesting funds to assist with expenses to <br />produce a video entitled "Humble Hives to Global Impact: The Story of Kona's Beekeeping" to <br />be showcased at the H.N. Greenwell Store Museum, which will serve a public purpose by <br />benefiting, improving, or promoting the interests of culture and the arts and educational <br />concerns; and <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in <br />accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br />amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 are hereby transferred to the <br />Department of Research and Development to provide a grant to Kona Historical Society for the <br />expenses and purposes identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNTOF <br />APPROPRIATION: $5,00f <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $5,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.161.5161.22 Department of Research and Development $5,000 <br />Agriculture R&D OCE <br />115 Misc.
