COUNTY OF HAWAPI <br />STATE OF HAWAPI <br />RESOLUTION NO. 123 25 <br />0 0 A a A 0 A <br />116110116101 A' A, • A A <br />:YMIMIM9101111,111111 V 0 A I A MA , <br />WHEREAS, OluKai is donating one -hundred twenty-six (126) pairs of <br />footwear specifically designed for Beach Lifeguards, valued at approximately <br />$13,860 and two -hundred fifty (250) reusable bags, valued at approximately <br />$1,250 to the County of Hawaii Fire Department; and <br />WHEREAS, the footwear and reusable bags will be utilized by the Fire <br />Department's Water Safety Officers while on duty; and <br />WHEREAS, Article X111, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter <br />provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of <br />donations of money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or <br />any interest in real estate, and Chapter 2, Article 30, Section 2-162 (a) of the <br />Hawaii County Code states that any gifts or donations of money, securities, or <br />personal property which fall within the capitalization procedures of the <br />Department of Finance, may be accepted by resolution approved by the <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii Fire Department recommends the <br />acceptance of this donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />that in accordance with Article X111, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County <br />
