J�tY Oi..,.. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I •� = '���� STATE OF HAWAII <br /> TE OF•HF'�-' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 145 25 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br /> RECREATION WITH EXPENSE RELATING TO THE HILO BAY BLAST <br /> FIREWORKS DISPLAY AT HILO BAY TO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY ON <br /> JULY 4,2025. <br /> WHEREAS,the annual Hilo Bay Blast, a long-standing and highly anticipated <br /> community fireworks display celebrating Independence Day, is scheduled to take place on July <br /> 4, 2025, at Hilo Bay; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase <br /> fireworks for the celebration; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to purchase fireworks for the annual Hilo Bay Blast fireworks display at <br /> Hilo Bay to celebrate Independence Day on July 4, 2025. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $4,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $4,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $4,000 <br /> Culture&Education OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
