Dr. Holeka Goro Inaba, Council Chair <br />And the Members of the Hawaii County Council <br />April 30, 2025 <br />Page 2 <br />On April 1, 2025, eligible applications and the grading rubric were distributed to all Council <br />Members for scoring. <br />On April 22 and 24, 2025, in compliance with Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 92-2.5 and <br />Hawaii County Code, Chapter 2-25, the Ad Hoc Committee met to review scored applications <br />and finalize award recommendations. <br />Attached hereto as "Exhibit A" are the Ad Hoc Committee's recommendations for fiscal year <br />2025-2026. <br />I would like to thank our Council Members for their service, as well as our staff and Council <br />Services, for supporting an efficient Ad Hoc Committee process. I also extend my gratitude to <br />Finance Director Diane Nakagawa, Lisa Tada, and the Finance Department staff for their <br />assistance in processing the applications. <br />It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as Chair of this Ad Hoc Committee.
