•4pV-`y OF h,, , <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 178 25 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR USE OF THE KONA TROLLEY FOR <br /> THE WEST HAWAI`I COUNTY BAND DURING THE KING KAMEHAMEHA DAY <br /> PARADE. <br /> WHEREAS, the West Hawai`i County Band, a civic band and sub-unit of the Hawai`i <br /> County Band, is comprised of local musicians in Kona that perform at monthly concerts, civic <br /> events, cultural events, and parades on the west side of Hawai`i island; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for the rental of <br /> the Kona Trolley to transport the band musicians and their instruments to perform at the King <br /> Kamehameha Day parade,which is scheduled for June 7, 2025; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 8 will be appropriated to the Department of <br /> Parks and Recreation to pay for the use of the Kona Trolley for the West Hawai`i County Band <br /> during the King Kamehameha Day parade on June 7, 2025. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $570 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $570 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.500.5501.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $570 <br /> Hawai`i County Band OCE <br /> 115 Misc.
