COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> •+j�rE•OF''�`` <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 12?9 25 <br /> A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THE SECOND GRADUATING CLASS OF THE <br /> HAWAI`I NATIONAL GUARD JOB CHALLENGE ACADEMY LOCATED AT THE <br /> KEAUKAHA MILITARY RESERVATION IN HILO,HAWAI`I. <br /> WHEREAS,thirteen committed Associates of the Hawai`i National Guard Job <br /> Challenge Academy have much to be proud as they are the second graduating class of the new <br /> career-based program at Keaukaha Military Reservation; and <br /> WHEREAS,these Job Challenge Academy (JCA) Associates are former Youth <br /> Challenge Academy (YCA) graduates,who have not only completed the Basic Challenge <br /> Program in the youth program,but now chose to further enhance their future through JCA; and <br /> WHEREAS, JCA is an optional, five-month residential program for 17—20-year-old <br /> YCA graduates, who desire to further their opportunities for success through post-secondary <br /> education credentials, such as certificates of course completion or industry-based certificates, <br /> facilitating their transition into the workforce as employable individuals; and <br /> WHEREAS,the following Associates have answered the call to be the second <br /> graduating class of JCA: Kahokupu'iwa Avilla, Kaimana Billaber-Nagle, Jacob Evans, Raymond <br /> Freeman, Daisha-Lyn Kukona-Pacheco, Chasity Kukona-Pacheco-Brehm,Noah Lee, Manuel <br /> Olivas, Shayla Pascubillo,Aryanna Poche-Malepeai, Chanyn Tancayo, Monson Tautuiaki, and <br /> Yael Udave-Rodriguez; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that it <br /> recognizes the second graduating class of the Hawaii National Guard Job Challenge Academy <br /> and their achievements in successfully completing the JCA program. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council joins the Associates in celebrating <br /> their graduation on June 12, 2025. <br />
