itfi-5!!!!!!!!!!.• <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> grEof• r.. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 191 25 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE HAWAI`I <br /> INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE EXPERIENCE FOR ITS FIVE-DAY SCIENCE <br /> EXCURSION AROUND HAWAI`I ISLAND. <br /> WHEREAS, Hawai`i International Science Experience (HISE) is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit <br /> organization that aims to boost student confidence and inspire science, technology, engineering, <br /> and mathematics learning and potential careers on Hawai`i Island; and <br /> WHEREAS, HISE is requesting funds for meals for its five-day science excursion <br /> around Hawai`i Island, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting <br /> the interests of culture and the arts, and educational concerns; and <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in <br /> accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br /> amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 are hereby transferred to the <br /> Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to the Hawai`i International Science Experience <br /> for the expenses and purposes identified in"Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $7,000 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $7,000 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $7,000 <br /> Public Programs <br /> 115 Misc.
