less,describe the project. <br /> Hawaii International Science Experience is an annual inemational gathering of science-minded students from Hawaii Island and International schools to science learning <br /> and global engagement.This is a collaboration of 5 Hawaii Island schools to design and implement a 5-day island exploration.The student team represents Waiakea, <br /> Kamehameha,Hilo,Kealakehe and Parker schools.A key focus is to boost Hawaii Island students'confidence in international collaboration and to explore current STEM <br /> learning and future career opportunities in here.Vision Statement:To respond to social,educational,and environmental needs of our youths,we aim to•Spark <br /> continued innovation and creativity•Inspire our youth to actively focus on global improvement and understanding.•Create valuable networks that transcend <br /> geographical boundaries,fostering collaboration among gifted Individuals in the field of science•Prompt community collaboration as tours along with culturrai learning.Waiakea High student and <br /> teachers decided to create a similar event on Hawaii Isalnd.Students inspired by transformative international and national science
