'� .'''-'l," • STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI I • <br /> ••�TEOFHF/' <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 209 25 <br /> A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br /> AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br /> DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE HAWAI`I POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> WITH PURCHASING EQUIPMENT TO PROMOTE PUBLIC SAFETY. <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawai`i Police Department is committed to providing the highest <br /> quality of police service by enforcing the law,protecting the peace, forming partnerships with <br /> the community,preserving the aloha spirit, and making Hawai`i Island a safe place to live,visit, <br /> and conduct business; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawaii Police Department is requesting equipment that will assist the <br /> department with keeping the public safe during active investigations and pursuits; and <br /> WHEREAS,the Hawai`i Police Department is requesting funds to purchase surveillance <br /> equipment, drones,remotes, and battery packs; now,therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the Hawai`i Police <br /> Department to assist with the purchase of equipment to promote public safety. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai`i hereby <br /> transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br /> FUND: General <br /> AMOUNT OF <br /> APPROPRIATION: $23,998 <br /> OUT AND FROM: <br /> 010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $23,998 <br /> CREDITED TO: <br /> 010.201.5203.20 Police Department $23,998 <br /> Police Admin Div-Equip <br /> 480 Misc Equipment <br /> (Surveillance Equipment) <br />
