In 2,000 characters or less, describe the project <br />The Hdoulu Meakanu Project supports Hdoulu Lahui's overall mission to awaken Hawaiian culture, values, beliefs, and lifestyle through community collaboration to <br />achieve unity, harmony, and total well-being. In line with this commitment to total wellbeing, the project strengthens the local food system and food security in Lower <br />Puna. Through the free distribution of vegetable starts and Native Hawaiian plants such as kalo and'ulu, the project increases access to food cultivation and promotes <br />Hawaiian living practices in Puna. <br />*45.501(c)(3) Mission Statement <br />Hdoulu 1.5hul is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to awakening Hawaiian culture, values, beliefs, and lifestyle in collaboration with the community to achieve <br />unity, harmony, and total well-being <br />*46. According to §2-136, "public purpose" is defined as a benefit to, improvement of, or promotion of the interests in the following areas.
