In 2,000 characters or less, describe the project The Hdoulu Meakanu Project supports Hdoulu Lahui's overall mission to awaken Hawaiian culture, values, beliefs, and lifestyle through community collaboration to achieve unity, harmony, and total well-being. In line with this commitment to total wellbeing, the project strengthens the local food system and food security in Lower Puna. Through the free distribution of vegetable starts and Native Hawaiian plants such as kalo and'ulu, the project increases access to food cultivation and promotes Hawaiian living practices in Puna. *45.501(c)(3) Mission Statement Hdoulu 1.5hul is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to awakening Hawaiian culture, values, beliefs, and lifestyle in collaboration with the community to achieve unity, harmony, and total well-being *46.
