No. 323/Res. No. 206-25 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 206-25, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 206-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication <br />No. 323, dated May 15, 2025, authorizes the payment of funds of later fiscal years to enter into a multi- <br />year lease agreement for one asphalt distributor truck to be used by the Department of Public Works. <br />This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a five-year lease agreement with an approximate total <br />monthly cost of $4,644.22, to be used for construction, resurfacing, and maintenance projects. <br />Public Works Business Manager Kelsey Kalua-Lewis commented that having the right amount of <br />resources around the island will help their department do continuous work. <br />Committee Member Dennis "Fresh" Onishi asked if this was a lease to own.
