Aquino of Council District 7 to the Game Management <br /> Advisory Commission. <br /> Mr. Aquino, a lifelong resident of Kona, is known for his energetic engagement in the <br /> community. He has been an active volunteer with the impactful nonprofit, Nakoa Foundation, for <br /> over ten years. As a talented graphic artist and a proud son of West Hawaii, he deeply values <br /> his 'ohana, his community and his island home. <br /> Raised in Kona as a native Hawaiian and an avid fisherman, Mr. Aquino recognizes the <br /> importance of protecting our precious environment while upholding and advancing traditional <br /> gathering rights and cultural respect. He graduated from the Kamehameha Schools Kap5lama <br /> in 2002 and went on to study at Santa Barbara City College and the Art Institute of California. <br /> If confirmed, Mr. Aquino will fill a vacant seat and serve a term that ends on December 31, <br /> 2026.
