COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />raSOLUTION O <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO THE ISLAND OF <br />HAWAI`I YMCA FOR ITS FIRST RESPONDERS' KIDS' DAY CAMP. <br />WHEREAS, the Island of Hawaii YMCA (YMCA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, <br />is guided by the core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility and is dedicated to <br />giving people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life the opportunity to reach their full <br />potential with dignity; and <br />WHEREAS, the YMCA is requesting funds for staff salaries and wages and <br />administrative expenses, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or <br />promoting the interests of public health and welfare, culture and the arts, and the needs of the <br />youth; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in <br />accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br />amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 are hereby transferred to the <br />Department of Parks and Recreation to provide a grant to the Island of Hawaii YMCA for the <br />expenses and purposes identified in `Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $5,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $5,000 <br />WIRWRT9901FE63 <br />010.500.5503.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $5,000 <br />P&R Admin.
