COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25G 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO HAWAI`I HI -DIVING <br />FRIENDS FOR A NEW THREE -METER DIVING STAND AND BOARD FOR THE <br />CHARLES "SPARKY" KAWAMOTO SWIM STADIUM. <br />WHEREAS, Hawaii HI -Diving Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose <br />mission is dedicated to the sport of platform and springboard diving; and <br />WHEREAS, Hawaii HI -Diving Friends is requesting funds for a new three -meter diving <br />stand and board for the Charles "Sparky" Kawamoto Swim Stadium, which will serve a public <br />purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting educational concerns and the public health and <br />welfare of people; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAFI that, in <br />accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br />amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 are hereby transferred to the <br />Department of Parks and Recreation to provide a grant to Hawaii HI -Diving Friends for the <br />expenses and purposes identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $6,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $6,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5503.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $6,000 <br />P&R Admin OCE <br />115 Misc.
