COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 25 If 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO BIG ISLAND DANCE <br />COUNCIL FOR ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION INVITATIONAL DANCE <br />WHEREAS, Big Island Dance Council (BIDC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that <br />supports, promotes, and encourages the art of dance on the Island of Hawaii through education, <br />classes, performances, and networking; and <br />WHEREAS, BIDC is requesting funds for facility rental and technical staff, as well as <br />for videotaping and editing event content, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, <br />improving, or promoting the interests of educational concerns, culture and the arts, and the needs <br />of the youth; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in <br />accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br />amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 1 are hereby transferred to the <br />Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Big Island Dance Council for the expenses <br />and purposes identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $1,500 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $1,500 <br />Public Programs <br />115 Misc.
