COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2G:1 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE REPLACEMENT CHAIRS FOR <br />THE SGT. RODNEY J.T. YANO MEMORIAL HALL COMMUNITY FACILITY IN <br />SOUTH KONA. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division needs <br />replacement chairs for the Sgt. Rodney J.T. Yano Memorial Hall (Yano Hall) community facility <br />in South Kona; and <br />WHEREAS, the Yano Hall facility regularly hosts kupuna programs as well as <br />community events, and the current chair inventory is comprised of a variety of well -aged, <br />mismatched, and potentially unsafe chairs; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase <br />replacement chairs which will be used and stored at the Yano Hall community facility, which <br />will help to ensure safety for all activities, patrons, and employees; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to purchase replacement chairs for the Sgt. Rodney J.T. Yano Memorial <br />Hall community facility in South Kona. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $3,056 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $3,056 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5507.06 Department of Parks and Recreation $3,056 <br />Recreation Division Equip <br />480 Misc.
