J�tr OF yam' <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII •� - <br />tTF CF•N'i <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 268 2-5 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br />RECREATION WITH EXPENSES FOR THE 2025 HAWAYI INTERNATIONAL <br />FUTSAL CUP. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation supports diverse recreation <br />programs while collaborating with local and international organizations; and <br />WHEREAS, more than forty teams from Hawaii Island, across the state, the mainland <br />U.S., and Japan will be competing at the 2025 Hawaii International Futsal Cup, which will be <br />held from August 15-17, 2025, in Hilo; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting assistance for the <br />purchase of youth and adult participant shirts, which will help to outfit local and visiting teams <br />while creating a lasting memory; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to assist with expenses related to the 2025 Hawaii International Futsal <br />Cup. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby <br />transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $2,500 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5507.02 Department of Parks and Recreation <br />Recreation Div OCE <br />341 Misc.
