COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2 a O 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND <br />RECREATION TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT FOR THE WAIAKEA RECREATION <br />CENTER. <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, plans and <br />coordinates organized recreation, athletics, aquatics, and arts and crafts activities for all age <br />groups at recreation centers and aquatic facilities throughout the County of Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation's Waidkea Recreation Center is <br />requesting funds for air conditioning units and ceiling fans, which will serve a public purpose by <br />improving outdated facility equipment to enhance the experience of patrons in the community; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation to purchase equipment for the Waidkea Recreation Center. <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $3,800 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $3,800 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5507.06 Department of Parks and Recreation $3,800 <br />Recreation Div Equip <br />480 Misc.
