oNty OF 1,, `� •-�� 1Jn�, COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAI`I �Tf OF•N�'� RESOLUTION NO. 277 25 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GROUP FOR THE 11TH ANNUAL HAWAI`I ISLAND ALL -NATIONS POWWOW. WHEREAS, Grassroots Community Development Group is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports individuals and groups that provide programs, activities, events, projects, and educational workshops that benefit the public and are free of charge; and WHEREAS, Grassroots Community Development Group is requesting funds for rental fees for tables, chairs, and tents, as well as food ingredients and supplies, and administration fees, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting the interests of culture and the arts, educational concerns, and public health and welfare of the people and the environment; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 are hereby transferred to the Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Grassroots Community Development Group for the expenses and purposes identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: FUND: General AMOUNT OF APPROPRIATION: $2,500 OUT AND FROM: 1010-11-1-10191 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $2,500 NW]1-1"7L03 1010-21-25139 Department of Liquor Control $2,500 Public Programs 530115 Misc.
