In 2,000 characters or less, describe the project The Hawari Island All Nations Powwow is a community event that brings together the diverse cultures of our host local culture, Native Hawaiians, Native American Nations, and the broader local community to celebrate both our diversity and unity. Held at the Puna Hongwanji in Kea'au, the Powwow promotes cultural pride and offers meaningful cross-cultural experiences for all who attend. *44.501(c)(3) Mission Statement Strengthen our communities through the cooperative development of programs and services for east Hawari, and to promote quality programs for youth and families *45. In 1,000 characters or less, explain how the 501(c)(3) Is connected to the project Grassroots Community Development Group (GCDG) has been providing and supporting Native Hawaiian and Native American cultural projects since 2009 when its Kea'au Youth Business Center hosted a cultural exchange between local youth and Native American tribal youth from Canada and the U.S. continent. GCDG has also been the fiscal sponsor for the Annual Hawaii Island All -Nations Powwow event since 2022. This will be Its 4th year as fiscal sponsor. *46.
